| Aunt Tut Our Aunt Tut (Elizabeth Ann's mom's sister) passed away last weekend after a 3 year battle with cancer. We flew out to Tennessee last Sunday for the funeral. It was sad, but also in many ways joyful. We know that she's with the Lord and not having to suffer through all the treatments that were taking a toll on her body. It was amazing because there were so many friends and family there supporting the family and helping them. The memorial service was packed out. It just reflected the life she led, the many people she touched and how much she loved and cared for others.
Traveling with Molly Having to fly out to Tennessee meant that we would be taking Molly on her first plane trip a lot earlier than expected (7 1/2 weeks). You may be one of those lucky people who have had the experience of sitting by an infant on a plane and hearing the wailing throughout the whole flight. We were so afraid she would be like that.
Surprisingly, Molly turned out to be an excellent traveler! *Sigh of relief!* She didn't even cry, even with the pressure changes during takeoff and landing. Just slept through it all. Now if only she can sleep through the night...
The Places I've Been As I was flying back, I started thinking about how blessed I've been to be able to travel so much in the past 3 to 4 years(since I met Elizabeth Ann actually); to see my girlfriend/fiance, for ministry, for work, to visit family, for vacations, for layovers.
I decided to put together a list of all the airports I/we have flown to or through in the past three years. If anyone can top this list I'd like to hear it because it would be pretty impressive.
